I like to think of myself as an out of the ordinary Tattoo Artist in Phoenix; I have been tattooing for well over 11 years and not only have I improved my art, but have also learned how to create a unique experience for each one of my clients. Every tattoo is special, from the small “infinity” symbol to the full “geometric” sleeve. So… I strive to ensure that every client not only leaves with a tattoo that exceeds all their expectations but, that they also feel cared for; and have an unforgettable experience at Ink. From childhood I already knew I had a strong passion for art; My goal was originally to do temporary henna tattoos on the beach in Acapulco, but moved to Arizona where i became a Tattoo Artist. I now have a little over 4 years of experience and specialize in realism. I am very interested in diving into free hand tattoos & original pieces, so lets work together to make some incredible art!
My name is Rene Martinez. I specialize in black and grey, lettering, and neo-traditional. My interest in tattooing stemmed from being part of graffiti culture in my teen years over 12 years ago but officially became a tattoo artist as of 10 years ago. Art has always been a creative outlet in my life which has given me direction into my artistry career since early adulthood—working in local street shops and practicing my strengths and weaknesses. I don’t shy away from whatever comes through the door, I will tattoo just about everything and anything.
